The story starts with the Fonia radio show 25 – that was the initial spark that lights the show you can hear here today.
No fakes and as close to the original as possible, so basically the opposite what usually happens if Stachy takes on a track and grinds that one through the sound mincer …
It is a kind of proof of heritage for Stachy, as he has never really been a “jazz-dj” (but what does it mean to be a dj these days anyways?)
This summer in Cracow – the polish city “Kraków” – the cultural center of Poland. Very close by the tourist routes there is a old jewish quarter – Kazimierz. There it was, a shop transformed living room in a first floor appartment. And inside: vinyl!!! A person living there, a person with knowledge and a very fine selection of the last 40 years of pressed gold from Poland.
To make a long story short – that was the goldmine Stachy digged all the fine stuff in this show: polski jazz z winylu… and for you.
